1. Who can use Unpack
Unpack is a professional tool for adults aged 18 or over, used in a work context. Accounts are provided by invitation, normally through an employer, practice or coaching programme. You must not share your account or your sign-in details with anyone else, and you are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
2. What Unpack is — and is not
Unpack helps you record and reflect on your own working conversations, notice patterns in how you communicate, prepare draft documentation and prepare for your next conversation. It is designed for documentation, retrieval and organisation of previously discussed information, communication analysis and professional development. It is not a clinical record system or a source of clinical, legal, regulatory, HR or financial advice. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, predict, prognose, treat or alleviate disease or injury; determine patient-specific treatment suitability; or recommend patient-specific treatment, medication, investigation, dosage or referral. Clinical decisions remain with the treating clinician. Nothing Unpack produces should be relied on as a professional record you are required to keep, or used as the sole basis for a decision about a patient, a colleague or an employee.
3. Your responsibilities when recording
- You are responsible for having the authority and any consent needed to record, upload or import a conversation, and for telling the other people involved.
- You must comply with your employer’s and professional regulator’s rules, and with applicable law, including data protection law.
- You must not upload content you have no right to upload, or content that is unlawful, abusive or deliberately harmful.
- Recording only ever happens when you start it. Unpack does not listen in the background.
4. AI-generated content
Unpack uses third-party AI services to transcribe audio and to generate summaries, observations, answers and preparation: OpenAI and Google (Gemini models), reached through the Lovable AI Gateway. These features only run after you have agreed on the “How Unpack uses AI” screen, and you can withdraw that agreement in Profile → AI processing. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate or misleading, and transcription is not perfect. You should read AI output as a prompt for your own reflection and judgement, not as fact. You remain responsible for any decision you take after reading it.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of the recordings, transcripts and text you put into Unpack. You give Azimuth Associates LTD t/a Unpack permission to process that content in order to provide the service to you — transcription, analysis, building your history and generating preparation. We do not submit your content for the purpose of training AI models; the model-training positions of the AI providers are set out in the Privacy Policy and our Subprocessor Register. How your content is handled, stored and deleted is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to access another user’s account or content.
- Do not probe, scan or interfere with the security of the service.
- Do not use Unpack to build a competing product, or to scrape or bulk-export other people’s content.
- Do not misrepresent Unpack output as a clinical or official record.
7. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Unpack available and working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be added, changed or withdrawn as the product develops. We may suspend or end access to an account that breaches these terms, or where an organisation’s arrangement with Azimuth Associates LTD t/a Unpack ends.
8. Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete my account. Deletion is scheduled 30 days ahead so you can change your mind, and can be cancelled at any point before that date. After it completes, your personal content is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.
9. Liability
Unpack is provided for professional reflection. To the extent permitted by law, Azimuth Associates LTD t/a Unpack is not liable for decisions you take on the basis of Unpack output, for loss of content, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
